Who may be able to join

"Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are older than 20 years of age
  • You have been diagnosed with diabetes for more than 2 years
  • Your HbA1c (a blood test that measures average blood sugar levels over the past few months) is between 8% and 12%
  • You have been taking a specific type of diabetes medication called an incretin-based therapy (such as a GLP-1 agonist or a DPP-IV inhibitor) for at least one month (confirm with trial site if unsure which medications count)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (the type where the body produces little or no insulin on its own)
