Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Voxsanity collects, how it is used, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: July 2026

What we do not collect

Voxsanity does not store which health conditions you search for linked to your identity. Your health search history is not retained, shared, or sold. This is a deliberate design choice, not a technical oversight.

What we collect

Analytics

We use analytics to understand which pages and conditions attract the most visits. This data is aggregated and anonymised. IP addresses are not stored in identifiable form. We do not log health-related query strings in session analytics.

Alert subscriptions (when available)

If you subscribe to trial alerts, we store your email address and the condition category you are following. We do not store which specific trials you are interested in, only the condition category, to avoid inferring health information from subscription choices.

Contact form submissions

If you contact us via the contact form, we store your message and email address to reply to you. This data is not used for any other purpose.

Cookies

We use a single consent cookie to record that you have accepted this notice. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use data

Aggregated, anonymised analytics are used to understand which conditions and features are most useful and to improve the platform. We do not use your data for advertising targeting. We do not sell data to third parties.

Data storage and security

Data is stored on servers in Australia (Sydney region). We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections, row-level security on all database tables, and access controls. No payment card data is stored on Voxsanity servers.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act and the GDPR (for EU residents), you have the right to:

  • Request access to personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact page.
