Corrections
When we get a fact wrong on this site, we fix it and we say so here. This page lists every correction, the page it applies to, and what changed.
A correction is a change to something that was factually wrong or genuinely misleading. Fixing a typo, rewording a sentence or restyling a page is not a correction and is not listed here — logging those would bury the ones that matter.
Data on this site is synced automatically from government registries. When a registry changes its own record, that is not a correction either: the page simply updates on the next sync. This log is for the times we were wrong.
Most of the corrections below fixed an Australian prevalence figure on a condition page. Those figures were taken off the condition pages on 20 September 2026 when the pages were rebuilt, so the figure a correction describes is no longer displayed. The records stay here because a correction reference is permanent and we do not delete one when a page changes.
Every correction has a permanent reference, like COR-0001. It is assigned once and never reused or reassigned, even if the correction is later amended, so you can quote it or link straight to it with voxsanity.com.au/corrections/#COR-0001.

| COR-0035 | 26 August 2026 | Endometrial Cancer Support and services |
We corrected the advocacy and support section. It described Counterpart as providing support specifically for women with endometrial cancer. Counterpart is a free service of Women's Health Victoria, it serves Victoria, and it supports women with cancer broadly rather than one cancer.
Found by the ACC-01 census of all 102 advocacy and support entries, 26 August 2026. Source: Counterpart, counterpart.org.au. |
| COR-0039 | 26 August 2026 | /glossary/ Technical |
We corrected the glossary definition of ANZCTR. It said this site draws trial records from the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry. It does not, and our own data coverage page already said so. No ANZCTR data is synced.
Found by the ACC-02 census of all 124 glossary definitions, 26 August 2026. Checked against the repository: trials.anzctr_id is 0% populated by decision, there is no ANZCTR sync script, and /data-coverage/ publishes "two trial registries, no ANZCTR". |
| COR-0036 | 26 August 2026 | Friedreich Ataxia Support and services |
We corrected the advocacy and support section. It said fara Australia runs patient clinics in Melbourne and Brisbane. fara lists and supports those clinics; the Melbourne clinic is run at Monash Medical Centre and the Brisbane clinic through Queensland Health.

| COR-0038 | 26 August 2026 | /glossary/ Health statistics |
We corrected the glossary definition of HIV. It said that with ongoing treatment a person cannot pass the virus on to sexual partners. That depends on treatment keeping the virus undetectable in the blood, which the definition did not say, so it now does.
Found by the ACC-02 census of all 124 glossary definitions, 26 August 2026. Source: healthdirect, which states the claim as maintaining an undetectable viral load for over six months. |
| COR-0037 | 26 August 2026 | Fibromyalgia Support and services |
We corrected the advocacy and support section. It called Fibromyalgia Australia the national support body for people living with fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia Australia is a program of the Bridges and Pathways Institute and describes its work as improving research, services and care rather than as patient support.
Found by the ACC-01 census of all 102 advocacy and support entries, 26 August 2026. Source: Bridges and Pathways Institute, bridgesandpathways.org.au. |

Found something wrong?
Tell us through the contact page, or use the "Report an issue" link on the page itself. We check every report. If it turns out to be a factual error, we fix the page and add it here, whoever it embarrasses.
Corrections are published here, on the page that was corrected, and on that condition's "what changed" page. They are not emailed out at the moment: while Voxsanity is this new, we would rather the record be complete and easy to check than send a stream of correction notices to the small number of people who signed up first. If that changes, this page will say so.
