Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You must be male
  • You must be of Caucasian (white European) background
  • You must be willing and able to give your consent to take part in the study
  • You must be between 18 and 40 years old
  • Your Body Mass Index (BMI — a measure of body weight relative to height) must fall into one of two ranges: either 19–25 (considered a healthy/lean weight) or 28–40 (considered overweight or obese)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You may not be able to join if you have kidney failure or poor kidney function (shown by a specific blood test result being too high — confirm with trial site)
  • You may not be able to join if you take any prescription medication every day
