Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Your child must be registered in the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN) registry for Angelman syndrome (AS), Rett syndrome (RTT), or Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) (confirm with trial site).
  • Your child must have been diagnosed with Angelman syndrome, Rett syndrome, or Prader-Willi syndrome — OR be a healthy sibling of someone with one of these conditions who is also enrolled in the study.
  • Your child must be between 0 and 18 years of age.
  • Your child must be able to participate in English, as all study questionnaires are only available in English.
  • For healthy siblings joining as controls: the sibling with AS, RTT, or PWS must already be enrolled in the study, and the healthy sibling must not have any neurological condition.

Who may not be able to join:

  • Children who do not have a diagnosis of Angelman syndrome, Rett syndrome, or Prader-Willi syndrome (unless joining as a healthy sibling control).
  • Children who have been diagnosed with another serious genetic disorder in addition to AS, RTT, or PWS.
  • Children who are older than 18 years of age.
  • Healthy siblings who have been diagnosed with any neurological condition.
  • Healthy siblings who have been diagnosed with any serious genetic disorder.
  • Healthy siblings who are 19 years of age or older.
