Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You and your partner are either planning to become pregnant or are in very early pregnancy (less than 10 weeks along at the time of joining, and less than 11 weeks when your sample reaches the lab).
- Both you and your partner are willing and able to take part and provide a sample for testing at the same time.
- If you are using an egg or sperm donor, that donor must also be willing to provide a DNA sample and agree to the carrier screening process.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are already pregnant and more than 10 weeks along at the time of joining the trial.
- Only one partner is willing to take part — both must agree to participate.
- Either partner is under 18 years old.
- You and your partner are not able to provide your samples at the same time.
- You are using an egg or sperm donor, but that donor is either not available for testing or is anonymous (identity unknown).
- One partner has already taken part in this study before.
