Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a man or woman over 18 years old diagnosed with a condition called ADPKD (a hereditary kidney disease where cysts grow on the kidneys), confirmed using a specific set of medical guidelines called the Ravine criteria
- Your kidneys are still functioning at a certain level, measured by a test called eGFR — you may qualify whether your kidney function is mildly, moderately, or more significantly reduced (confirm with trial site for your specific result)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have diabetes, or your urine contains a very high level of protein (more than 3 grams in 24 hours), as these could affect kidney function independently
- Your urine test results suggest you may have another significant kidney condition, kidney stones, or a urinary tract infection
- You have a serious major illness affecting other parts of your body
- You are not able to give your own informed consent to take part in the trial
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or could become pregnant and are not using a reliable form of contraception
