Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years old or older and have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes by a doctor.
  • You are currently receiving care at the Diabetes Hospital and Research Centre in Peshawar.
  • You are willing to follow specific dietary guidelines and attend follow-up appointments as required.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently pregnant (this is to make sure the study does not include gestational diabetes, which is a different condition).
  • You have serious health conditions that would make it difficult or impossible for you to follow a specific diet (confirm with trial site).
