Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a man who is at least 55 years old but not yet 75 years old at the time of joining the trial
- You are willing and able to read and sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently being treated for any cancer (except certain common skin cancers — basal-cell or squamous-cell skin cancer)
- You have previously been diagnosed with cancer of the colon, rectum, lung, or prostate (including cancer that has spread from another area)
- You have had surgery to completely remove your entire colon, an entire lung, or your entire prostate
- You are already taking part in another clinical trial focused on cancer screening or cancer prevention
- You have taken the medication Proscar, Propecia, or finasteride at any point in the last 6 months (confirm with trial site for details on exceptions if you are already enrolled)
- You have had more than one PSA blood test (a prostate-related blood test) in the past three years
- You have had a colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, or barium enema (bowel examination procedures) within the past three years
