Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with malignant pleural mesothelioma (a type of cancer affecting the lining of the lungs), confirmed by a tissue sample taken through a procedure such as a chest drain, fluid removal, biopsy, or camera examination of the chest within the last 3 weeks
  • You are expected to live for at least 3 months

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have previously received chemotherapy (cancer-fighting drugs given throughout the body) for mesothelioma
  • You have previously received radiotherapy (radiation treatment) directed at the affected area for mesothelioma
  • You have had, or are planning to have, any other invasive (surgical or procedural) treatment to the same area of the chest during the trial or within 1 year after the study ends
