Who may be able to join

"Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • You must have been diagnosed with a specific type of lung cancer called non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), confirmed through a tissue or cell sample
  • You must have at least one cancer spot that has spread to the brain, diagnosed within the last 30 days before joining the trial
  • You must have no more than 2 areas outside the brain where the cancer has spread
  • You may have previously had radiation treatment to the original lung tumor or other areas of the body (outside the brain)
  • Your blood tests and other lab results must meet certain levels set by the trial (confirm with trial site)
  • You must be willing and able to give written consent to participate
  • If you are able to have children, you must agree to use effective birth control
  • You must be in reasonably good general health and able to carry out normal daily activities (assessed using a standard health scoring tool)
  • Your neurological (brain and nerve) functioning must meet certain levels measured by a specific assessment tool (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You may not be able to join if the cancer that has spread to your brain has already been treated with whole-brain radiation therapy or a targeted radiation procedure called radiosurgery
