Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease within the last 6 months and the disease is currently active.
- You have been taking between 10–40 mg per day of prednisone (a steroid) for more than 3 months, and at least one attempt to reduce the dose has failed because your disease got worse.
- You are able to give yourself an injection of the study drug, or you have someone who can help you do this.
- You are not pregnant, and if you are sexually active and could potentially have children, you agree to use birth control during the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently taking certain medications that are not permitted in this study (confirm with trial site for the specific list).
- You have had bowel surgery or a bowel blockage in the past 6 months.
- You have ever taken this study drug or a drug that works in a similar way in the past (confirm with trial site for specific drug names).
