Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), confirmed through a tissue or cell sample test
- Your lung cancer is either at an advanced local stage (Stage IIIB) or has spread to other parts of the body (Stage IV), and cannot be treated with surgery or radiotherapy to cure it
- You have been assessed as not suitable for chemotherapy
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within a certain range on a standard scale (WHO Performance Status 2 or 3 — confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have recently been diagnosed with cancer that has newly spread to the brain or spinal cord
- It has been less than 4 weeks since you finished radiotherapy, or you are still experiencing side effects from radiotherapy
- You have another type of cancer in addition to lung cancer
- Your liver function test results are significantly above the normal range (confirm with trial site)
- Your white blood cell count or platelet count (which help fight infection and clotting) are below certain levels (confirm with trial site)
