Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer that has been confirmed through a tissue or cell sample, and you need chemotherapy as part of your treatment
  • You have not had chemotherapy before
  • You may or may not have had surgery to remove as much of the cancer as possible (either is acceptable)
  • You are over 18 years old
  • You are reasonably active and able to care for yourself (your doctor will assess this)
  • You are expected to live for at least three months
  • Your blood counts are at an acceptable level, meaning your immune cells, platelets, and red blood cells are within required ranges (your doctor will check this)
  • Your liver and kidneys are working well enough, based on blood test results (your doctor will check this)
  • You are willing and able to give your informed consent to take part

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
  • You have a mental health condition or personal circumstances that might make it difficult to follow the trial requirements (confirm with trial site)
  • You have another serious illness that is not currently under control
  • You have had another type of cancer (other than certain common skin cancers) within the last 5 years
