Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer that has been confirmed through a tissue or cell sample, and you need chemotherapy as part of your treatment
- You have not had chemotherapy before
- You may or may not have had surgery to remove as much of the cancer as possible (either is acceptable)
- You are over 18 years old
- You are reasonably active and able to care for yourself (your doctor will assess this)
- You are expected to live for at least three months
- Your blood counts are at an acceptable level, meaning your immune cells, platelets, and red blood cells are within required ranges (your doctor will check this)
- Your liver and kidneys are working well enough, based on blood test results (your doctor will check this)
- You are willing and able to give your informed consent to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- You have a mental health condition or personal circumstances that might make it difficult to follow the trial requirements (confirm with trial site)
- You have another serious illness that is not currently under control
- You have had another type of cancer (other than certain common skin cancers) within the last 5 years
