Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that cannot be cured by other treatments, including surgery
- You have lost at least 5% of your body weight in the past 3 months (for example, if you weigh 150 lbs, this would mean losing at least 7.5 lbs)
- A blood test has shown that you have raised levels of a protein called C-reactive protein (CRP), which is a sign of inflammation in the body (confirm with trial site)
- Your doctor expects you to live for at least 12 weeks
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had chemotherapy, large-area radiotherapy, or surgery to treat your cancer within the last 30 days
- A recent blood test showed that certain liver enzymes (called AST and ALT) are significantly above the normal range (confirm with trial site)
- A recent blood test showed that your red blood cell levels (haemoglobin) are too low, which may be a sign of anaemia (confirm with trial site)
- You have a history of tuberculosis (TB) or currently have an active TB infection
