Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with one or more of the following cancers: small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, or stomach (gastric) cancer
  • You have a specific genetic variation (a gene type called UGT1A1) that falls into one of these patterns: *1/*6, *1/*28, *6/*6, *28/*28, or *6/*28 (confirm with trial site)
  • You are currently being treated with a chemotherapy drug called CPT-11 (irinotecan) combined with a platinum-based drug (such as cisplatin, carboplatin, or nedaplatin), with or without other targeted therapy drugs

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a medical reason why you cannot safely take the chemotherapy drug CPT-11 (irinotecan) (confirm with trial site)
  • Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is severely limited, rated as a 3 or 4 on a standard medical scale where 0 means fully active and 4 means completely unable to care for yourself
