Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been tested and confirmed to carry a harmful (or possibly harmful) change in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene (a gene mutation linked to cancer risk), confirmed before joining the study
  • You have a solid tumour (a type of cancer growth) that has been confirmed, and there are no standard treatments currently available for your condition
  • You have at least one area of cancer in your body that can be seen and measured (or at least detected) on a CT or MRI scan, and can be checked again at future appointments

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have previously been treated with a type of drug called a PARP inhibitor, including a drug called olaparib
  • You are unable to swallow tablets or capsules, or you have a condition affecting your stomach or digestive system that may stop your body from properly absorbing the study medication
  • You have received chemotherapy or radiotherapy (other than radiotherapy given just to manage pain/symptoms) within the 2 weeks before starting the study treatment, or possibly longer depending on which specific drugs were used (confirm with trial site)
