Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have a normal physical exam result, except for excessive hair growth (hirsutism)
  • You are not currently taking any medications to lower cholesterol, control blood sugar, manage blood pressure, or hormone replacement therapy
  • Your thyroid and prolactin hormone levels are within the normal range
  • You have no history or signs of conditions affecting your metabolism, heart, lungs, or liver

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently pregnant
  • You have a tumor on your ovaries
  • You have a genetic condition called congenital adrenal hyperplasia (confirm with trial site)
  • Your Body Mass Index (BMI) — a measure of body weight relative to height — is greater than 30 kg/m²
