Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have no significant health problems found during a physical check-up, apart from excess hair growth (hirsutism)
  • You are not currently taking any medications to lower cholesterol, control blood sugar, manage blood pressure, or hormone replacement therapy
  • Your thyroid gland is working normally and your prolactin hormone levels are normal
  • You have no history or signs of conditions affecting your metabolism, heart, breathing, or liver

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently pregnant
  • There is a possibility of tumors on your ovaries (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a condition called congenital adrenal hyperplasia, which is an inherited disorder affecting hormone production
  • Your Body Mass Index (BMI) — a measure of body weight relative to height — is above 35
