"Who might be able to join this trial:

• You must be over 18 years of age
• You must be a woman with cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen (peritoneum), believed to have started in the ovaries
• You must have had or be planning to have a keyhole surgery procedure to assess the spread of cancer, either for the first time or because the cancer has come back — if already done, it must have been within the last 4 weeks, and a specific score measuring cancer spread (called the Sugarbaker Peritoneal Cancer Index) must be recorded
• You must have a general health status rated between 0 and 2 on the WHO scale, meaning you are able to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (confirm with trial site)
• You must be a member of the French social security system (confirm with trial site)
• You must have signed a written consent form agreeing to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

• Men are not eligible for this trial
• You cannot join if there is a medical reason why keyhole surgery would not be safe for you
• You cannot join if you have a medical or psychological condition that could affect your ability to fully participate in the study
• You cannot join if you are in prison, or if you are under legal guardianship or protective supervision
