Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have a score above 14 on a standard depression rating scale called the HAMD (confirm with trial site)
  • You are 50 years old or older
  • You speak English or Spanish
  • You identify as Non-Hispanic White, Black, or Hispanic

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have been taking antidepressant medication for less than 9 weeks
  • You are considered to be at high risk of suicide
  • You have been identified as likely having dementia
  • You have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder
  • You currently have issues with substance use (such as alcohol or drugs)
