Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have at least one area of disease that can be seen and measured on a scan (such as an X-ray, CT, or MRI).
  • You are generally able to carry out everyday activities and care for yourself, with little or no limitation due to your illness (confirm with trial site).
  • Your kidneys and liver are working well enough, based on blood tests.
  • Your doctors expect you to live for at least 3 more months.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have had an organ transplant at any point in your life.
  • You have a known history of Hepatitis A, B, or C and are currently taking antiviral medication to treat it.
  • You have previously had gastric bypass surgery or a stomach banding procedure (a type of weight-loss surgery).
  • Your blood pressure is too high or too low and cannot be controlled even with medication.
  • You have taken part in another clinical trial testing a new or experimental treatment within the last 30 days.
  • A heart tracing test (ECG) done during the screening process shows an abnormal heart rhythm measurement, or you were born with a condition that causes an irregular heart rhythm (confirm with trial site).
