Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have had surgery to remove ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer (specific types: high grade serous, endometrioid, clear cell carcinoma, or carcinosarcoma) at stage I through IV, and the surgeon was able to remove all visible cancer — OR you are about to start chemotherapy before surgery (called neoadjuvant chemotherapy) for stage I–III of these same cancer types, with surgery planned during or after that chemotherapy.
  • A tumour tissue sample (taken during surgery or by a biopsy before chemotherapy) can be provided for laboratory testing.
  • You are well enough and are planned to receive chemotherapy after surgery.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have been diagnosed with another type of cancer in the past 3 years.
  • Your ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer is of the mucinous type, or is a sarcoma.
  • You have stage IV cancer where not all visible cancer could be removed during surgery (i.e., some cancer was left behind).
  • You are under 18 years of age.

Primary endpoints

Circulating DNA in the plasma of cancer patients has been shown to exhibit tumour-related alteration. These mutations in tumour cells,can be used as highly specific biomarkers of disease burden. Baseline.
