Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a married woman between 18 and 40 years old
  • You are trying to get pregnant
  • You have been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) based on specific medical guidelines called the Rotterdam criteria (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are currently receiving any fertility treatments
  • You have been diagnosed with diabetes
  • You have taken insulin-sensitizing medications (such as Metformin) in the last three months
  • You have taken hormone treatments containing estrogen or progesterone in the last three months
  • You have a known allergy or sensitivity to cinnamon
  • You are currently taking statin medications (a type of cholesterol-lowering drug)
  • You have taken any supplements containing cinnamon in the last month
  • Your Body Mass Index (BMI) — a measure of body weight relative to height — is below 18.5 or above 35
