Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and currently be experiencing a depressive episode, which may or may not include symptoms such as hallucinations or delusions
- You must be willing and able to give written consent to take part in the study
- You must have been attending the Bipolar Disorder Program at the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona (Spain) for at least 6 months since your current depressive episode began
Who may not be able to join:
- You may not be able to join if you have a serious or life-threatening physical health condition
- You may not be able to join if you have been assessed as having significant intellectual difficulties (specifically, a measured IQ below 85) (confirm with trial site)
- You may not be able to join if you have received or are receiving electroconvulsive therapy (a treatment that uses electrical currents to the brain, sometimes called "ECT" or "shock therapy")
