Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 10 and 17 years old (must not have turned 18 yet at the time of joining the trial)
  • You have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Your MS disability level falls within a certain range, rated 0 to 5.5 on a standard MS scale (confirm with trial site)
  • You have had at least one MS attack/relapse in the past year, or two relapses in the past two years, or a brain scan has shown one or more new areas of MS activity within the last 12 months

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a type of MS that gradually gets worse over time without relapses (progressive MS)
  • You have another long-term condition affecting your immune system, besides MS
  • You have been diagnosed with a condition called ADEM, which is a specific type of brain inflammation (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a serious heart condition or your heart screening test showed concerning results
  • You have serious kidney problems
