Back to Lung Cancer
NCT04968548
NCT04968548
Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a current or former smoker with a smoking history of at least 20 "pack-years" (for example, smoking one pack a day for 20 years, or two packs a day for 10 years)
- You either have a strong suspicion of lung cancer with surgery planned within 60 days to confirm the diagnosis, OR you have been diagnosed with lung cancer but have not yet started any treatment
- Alternatively, you may be eligible if you are a current or former smoker with at least 20 pack-years of smoking history and are already scheduled for a low-dose CT (LDCT) scan as part of routine lung cancer screening
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with or treated for any type of cancer in the past 5 years — though fully removed non-melanoma skin cancer or fully removed early-stage cervical cell changes may be exceptions (confirm with trial site)
- Your lung cancer has already been confirmed by tissue testing to be at an advanced stage (Stage III or IV)
- You are having a low-dose CT scan specifically to monitor a lung nodule that has already been found, rather than for general screening purposes
