Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 30 years old
- You are married
- You are a woman who has been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), meaning you have at least 2 of the following: (1) cysts on your ovaries seen on an ultrasound scan, (2) signs of higher-than-normal male hormones, such as excess body hair or severe acne, or (3) irregular periods that are more than 35 days apart or no periods at all for at least 6 months
- You are willing to take part in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You have certain hormonal conditions affecting the adrenal glands, thyroid, or a hormone called prolactin
- You are currently taking Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- You have been diagnosed with any form of cancer
- You have had a bone fracture or surgery recently (confirm with trial site for exact timeframe)
- You have a condition affecting your kidneys or nervous system
- You have dementia or any condition that affects memory and thinking
