Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You prefer to receive medical information in Spanish AND you or a family member has had cancer (any type).
- You prefer to receive medical information in English AND you or a family member has had breast cancer.
- You prefer to receive medical information in English AND you or a family member has had prostate cancer.
- You prefer to receive medical information in English AND you or a family member has had any type of cancer, and you were referred because a specific gene change was found during tumor testing of you or your affected family member.
- You prefer to receive medical information in English AND you or a family member has had gastrointestinal (digestive system) or gynecologic (female reproductive system) cancer, and testing of the tumor suggested a condition called Lynch Syndrome.
- You prefer to receive medical information in English AND you or a family member has had ovarian cancer and/or pancreatic cancer.
- If your group requires it, you have watched an educational video or read an educational pamphlet before joining.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are under 18 years of age (minors) are not eligible.
- People who are unable to make their own informed decisions are not eligible.
