Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a woman aged 18 or older who has been diagnosed with breast or gynaecological (reproductive system) cancer
  • You live with family and have at least one adult family member who agrees to take part in the meeting sessions of the program
  • You have already been told about your cancer diagnosis
  • You are physically well enough to carry out self-practice exercises on your own (based on a health score assessed by a doctor — confirm with trial site)
  • You are able to communicate, read, and write in Vietnamese
  • You have access to a device such as a smartphone or MP3 player to listen to audio recordings at home
  • You are willing to give your consent to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are unable to understand how the study works or what would be involved
  • You have a mental health condition, or are deaf or blind
  • You are not aware of your cancer diagnosis or do not know why you are receiving chemotherapy
  • You are currently taking part in another study related to mental or emotional wellbeing
  • You are currently receiving treatment for anxiety or depression
  • You are currently doing relaxation-based activities such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, or similar practices
  • You have planned medical treatment (such as surgery) or personal commitments in the next 6 weeks that would stop you from practising daily
