Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) based on having at least two of these three features: signs of high male hormones (such as excess hair, acne, or oily skin) or high hormone levels on a blood test; ovaries that look polycystic on an ultrasound; or irregular periods (cycles longer than 35 days or fewer than 7 periods per year).
• Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is between 25 and 50 (a measure of weight relative to height — confirm with trial site if unsure of your BMI).
• You are between 18 and 45 years old.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have not had a period for more than 2 years (meaning you have gone through menopause).
• You have been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
• You have previously been diagnosed with a depressive mood disorder by a doctor or psychologist.
• You have a history of an eating disorder, such as anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating disorder.
• Your weight has not been stable for at least 3 months before the study starts.
• You are currently taking certain medications, such as the contraceptive pill, weight loss drugs, insulin-sensitising medications, hormone-blocking drugs, anti-seizure drugs, or antipsychotic medications (within 2 months of starting the study).
• You are already following a time-restricted eating (TRE) plan, which involves limiting the hours of the day during which you eat (confirm with trial site).
• You are a competitive athlete or do more than 1 hour of intense exercise on more than 5 days per week.
• You have smoked within the last 3 months before starting the study.
• You do not have a Wi-Fi connection at home, as video calls are required.
• You are pregnant or are trying to become pregnant.
