Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 50 and 80 years old
  • You currently smoke, or you quit smoking within the last 15 years
  • You have a smoking history of at least 20 pack-years (this means, for example, smoking one pack a day for 20 years, or two packs a day for 10 years — confirm with trial site if unsure how to calculate yours)
  • You have never had a lung cancer screening before
  • You are able to give your consent to take part in the trial
  • You can speak and understand English

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have already been diagnosed with lung cancer
  • You have previously had a scan to screen for lung cancer
  • You are not able to speak and understand English
