Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- It must have been at least 1 year since you had your first period.
- You must be willing to give both verbal and written agreement to take part in the trial.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are under 18 years of age.
- People who have certain hormonal conditions, such as high prolactin levels, Cushing's syndrome, a condition affecting the adrenal glands from birth, or a thyroid disorder.
- People who have conditions affecting the nerves and muscles, liver, pancreas, or digestive system.
- People who are currently taking certain medications, including hormone-related treatments, anti-androgen drugs, diabetes medications, steroids (glucocorticoids), insulin-sensitizing drugs, or cholesterol/fat-lowering medications.
