Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

You have had genetic counseling and testing for BRCA1 and/or BRCA2 gene mutations at an approved, certified laboratory
Your genetic test results showed that you carry a known harmful gene mutation
Your test results were shared with you within the last 3 weeks
Your medical records are available for the research team to review
You are able to provide a DNA sample, either through a blood draw or a mouthwash sample
You have access to a telephone and a computer or other device that can connect to the internet
You have not yet had surgery to remove both breasts or both ovaries and fallopian tubes as a preventive measure

Who may not be able to join:

You have already had surgery to remove both breasts as a preventive measure
You have already had surgery to remove both ovaries and fallopian tubes as a preventive measure
