Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a type of cancer that has spread or cannot be surgically removed, confirmed by a lab test, and it must be one of these specific cancer types: non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC), esophageal squamous cell cancer (ESCC), stomach/gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC), esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC), or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
• Your cancer has come back, stopped responding to standard treatments, or you were unable to tolerate standard treatments, and your doctor believes there are no other appropriate standard treatment options available to you.
• Your liver, kidneys, and other organs are working well enough, based on blood tests taken within 7 days before starting the study treatment.
• Your cancer can be measured or tracked using standard imaging scans.
• You are generally able to carry out everyday activities with no or only minor limitations (as rated by a standard doctor's scale called ECOG, scoring either 0 or 1).

Who may not be able to join:

• You have been diagnosed with another type of cancer in the past 3 years, or there are still signs of a previous cancer (with some exceptions for cancers that are very unlikely to spread or be life-threatening).
• You have certain lung conditions, including a type of lung inflammation not caused by infection (interstitial lung disease or pneumonitis), significantly reduced lung function (confirm with trial site), any severe lung disease unrelated to your cancer, or you received high-dose radiation to your lungs within the last 6 months.
• You already have nerve damage in your hands or feet (peripheral neuropathy) that is moderate or worse.
• You have diabetes that is not well controlled.
• You have active cancer spread to the brain — though if your brain metastases were previously treated, you may still be eligible if you have been stable for at least 4 weeks, have no new or growing brain tumors, and have not needed steroid medication for brain-related symptoms for at least 7 days.
• You have a history of, or currently have, cancer that has spread to the lining around the brain and spinal cord (carcinomatous meningitis).
• You have previously been treated with a specific type of drug called an MMAE-containing agent, or a drug that targets a protein called integrin beta-6 (confirm with trial site).
• You have received certain cancer treatments too recently — including chemotherapy within the last 21 days, targeted therapy within the last 14 days or longer, antibody-based cancer drugs or experimental treatments within the last 28 days, or you have had focused radiation or major surgery within the last 14 days.
• You have used herbal or traditional medicines to treat cancer within the last 28 days, or any herbal/traditional medicines for any reason within the last 7 days.
