Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with cancer (specifically esophageal, stomach, gastroesophageal junction, or non-small cell lung cancer) confirmed through medical tests, tissue samples, and scans
• You have a good general level of physical functioning, scored at 80 or above on a standard medical scale (confirm with trial site)
• Your cancer cannot be removed by surgery and has either spread locally or to other parts of the body
• You have not yet received any systemic cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, anti-angiogenic drugs, or immunotherapy
• You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans, according to standard medical guidelines
• You are currently receiving or will be receiving a type of immunotherapy drug (PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor), either alone or combined with chemotherapy
• You are willing and able to complete questionnaires, either on your own or with help from someone else
• You are 18 years of age or older

Who may not be able to join:

• Your cancer is driven by a specific gene mutation (confirm with trial site)
• You have had another type of cancer within the past 3 years
• You currently have an acute or ongoing mental health condition
• You are currently taking antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, or other psychiatric medications
• You have previously participated in another clinical drug trial
• You have brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) that are causing symptoms
• You have a significant intellectual disability or communication difficulties that would make participation very difficult
