Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed (confirmed by tissue testing) with adenocarcinoma — a specific type of cancer — in one of these locations: colon, rectum, small intestine, pancreas, stomach, bile duct, or oesophagus
- People who are about to start their first or second round of chemotherapy and/or targeted therapy for cancer that has spread (metastatic)
- People who have signed an informed consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People under 18 years old
- People whose cancer is not the adenocarcinoma type
- People who have already started chemotherapy and/or targeted therapy as their first or second treatment for metastatic disease
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are not registered with a social security system (confirm with trial site)
- People for whom regular follow-up appointments would not be possible, due to psychological, family, social, or geographical reasons
- People who are already taking part in a Phase I or Phase II clinical trial that changes their usual care and requires additional specific blood samples
