Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with gastric (stomach) cancer (Groups 1 & 2)
- People who are currently having or have already had a camera examination of the upper digestive tract (an endoscopy) for medical reasons (Groups 3 & 5)
- People aged 40–64 who are considered average risk and do not have any warning symptoms related to stomach cancer (Group 4)
- People who are willing and motivated to take part in the study
- People who are physically able to provide breath samples and complete the other procedures required by the study
- People who have signed a consent form agreeing to participate

- People who have another type of cancer that is currently active
- People who have breathing difficulties or a blockage in their airways
- People who are unable or unwilling to cooperate with the study procedures
