Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • People who are unwilling to use birth control during the study period
  • People who have previously received chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or immunotherapy
  • People who have had another cancer in the past five years, except for a specific early-stage cervical condition called cervical carcinoma in situ
  • People with a history of uncontrolled brain or nervous system conditions that could affect their ability to follow the study requirements
  • People with a history of severe liver, kidney, or lung disease; uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure; or serious heart conditions such as heart failure, symptomatic coronary artery disease, uncontrolled irregular heartbeat, or a heart attack within the past six months
  • People with a history of difficulty swallowing, a complete or partial blockage of the digestive tract, active bleeding in the digestive tract, or a hole (perforation) in the digestive tract
  • People currently taking steroid medication following an organ transplant
  • People with a severe infection that is not under control
  • People known to have a genetic condition called dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) deficiency, which affects how certain medicines are broken down by the body
  • People with a known serious allergic reaction to any ingredient in the study drugs
  • People with a known nerve condition affecting the hands or feet beyond a mild level (confirm with trial site for exact grading details)
