Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected of having, a type of tumour called a GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumour), either confirmed by tissue testing or based on clinical findings. If tissue is available from a previous biopsy, that will be reviewed; a new biopsy will not be required if there is not enough tissue to test.
- People aged 6 years or older.
- People who are reasonably physically well and able to carry out daily activities, as measured by a standard health scoring scale (confirm with trial site for exact thresholds).
- People, or their parent or guardian if the person is a child, who are able to understand the trial and are willing to sign a written consent form.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have ongoing health conditions that cannot be changed or treated and that would make it unsafe for them to undergo a surgical procedure to remove or reduce the tumour.

Evaluate and follow patients with GISTs, particularly WT or treatment-refractory non-WT, to support translational research for this rare disease; Assess disease-free intervals (DFIs) between surgical resection of disease for at least 5 years
