If you have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD):
- You have been formally diagnosed with ASD using recognised diagnostic tools and expert assessment
- You are at least 24 months (2 years) old (there is no upper age limit)
- Your general physical and mental health allows you to have a blood test taken safely
- You are covered by social insurance (such as national health or social security coverage)

If you do not have ASD (acting as a comparison participant):

If you are a family member of someone with ASD or of a comparison participant:
- You are at least 24 months (2 years) old

Who may not be able to join:
If you have ASD:
- You have a severe intellectual disability (an IQ below 35, or a developmental age under 18 months)
- You have a personal history of certain mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder (not including tobacco), recurring severe depression, or a severe and unstable anxiety disorder
- You have a personal history of certain neurological conditions, such as epilepsy or another serious neurological disease
If you are a comparison participant or a family member of anyone in the trial:
- You have a medical, psychiatric, or physical health condition that would make participation unsuitable (confirm with trial site)
