Who might be able to join this trial:
- Your stomach cancer has been confirmed by a tissue biopsy and is a specific type called adenocarcinoma.
- Your cancer is at an early to intermediate stage (T1N0, T1N1, or T2N0), as determined by a CT scan and surgery findings.
- Your tumor is located in the lower or middle part of the stomach (antrum, angle, lower body, or mid body).
- There is no sign that the cancer has spread to other parts of your body.
- You are between 20 and 75 years old.
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation therapy for any cancer in the past or planned for the future.
- Your blood and organ test results fall within acceptable ranges, showing your body is healthy enough for the trial (confirm with trial site for specific values).

Who may not be able to join:
- You have, or recently had (within the last 5 years), another type of cancer elsewhere in your body.
- Your cancer is in a stomach that was already partially removed in a previous surgery.
- Your cancer is found to be at a more advanced stage (T3 or T4) during surgical assessment.
- Your CT scan shows the cancer has spread to 3 or more nearby lymph nodes.
- Your cancer is a rare subtype, such as adenosquamous, hepatoid, squamous cell, undifferentiated, or neuroendocrine carcinoma.
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have a diagnosed mental health disorder noted in your medical records.
- You have had unstable chest pain (angina) or a heart attack within the last 6 months.
- You have high blood pressure that is not well controlled.
- You have diabetes that requires insulin treatment.
- You have a serious breathing condition that requires continuous oxygen therapy.
- You have had previous surgery on the upper abdomen, except for keyhole (laparoscopic) gallbladder removal.
- You experienced a serious complication from surgery.
