Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are male and between 18 and 80 years old
• People who were previously enrolled and treated in one of three specific gene therapy clinical trials at Royal Free Hospital: the AGT4HB trial (a Factor IX gene therapy trial), the GO-8 trial (a Factor VIII gene therapy trial), or the FLT180a-01 trial (a Factor IX gene therapy trial, with participants now in a follow-up study called FLT180a-04)
• People whose blood showed some working Factor VIII or Factor IX activity (above 1%) at any point after their gene therapy, along with normal results on certain blood clotting tests

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose platelet count (a measure of clotting cells in the blood) has been recorded below 140 x10⁹/L
• People with any condition that, in the investigator's or sponsor's opinion, would stop them from fully taking part in the study or would affect the ability to assess safety or results
• People with reduced kidney function (where the kidney filtration rate is measured at below 50 ml/min)
• People with a known allergy to iodine-based dye used in certain medical scans given through a vein
• People with a known allergy to local or general anaesthetic
• People with a known reaction to Factor VIII or Factor IX concentrate infusions
• People who have developed antibodies that work against Factor VIII or Factor IX treatments (tested within 14 weeks before a biopsy procedure)
• People who show signs of a bleeding disorder that is not related to Haemophilia A or B
• People who are unable or unwilling to read, understand, and sign a consent form agreeing to take part
