Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults who are eligible for a full surgical removal of lung, stomach, or esophageal (food pipe) cancer
Who may not be able to join:
- People diagnosed with small cell cancer, carcinoid tumours, or gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST)
- People with lung cancer where only a small wedge-shaped piece of the lung would be removed, rather than a full resection
- People who have had another cancer that was actively being treated at any point in the last 3 years (not counting certain skin cancers or superficial bladder cancer)
- People who are currently receiving care from a naturopathic doctor (ND), or who have seen one in the last 3 months
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial or have used an experimental drug within the last 30 days before the start of this study
- People where the lead researcher decides, for any reason, that participation would not be appropriate (confirm with trial site)
