Who might be able to join this trial:
- You (if aged 18 or older) or your parent/guardian must be willing and able to sign a consent form, and if you are a minor, you should also be willing to give your own agreement to take part where required
- You must be male or female, between 6 and 19 years old, and have moderate to severe Hemophilia A (meaning your body produces very little or no Factor VIII) without inhibitors (proteins that block treatment)
- You must currently be taking Emicizumab or a standard Factor VIII preventive treatment as recommended by your doctor
- You must already be playing, or be signed up to start playing, one or more sports that carry a moderate to high risk of bleeding, as defined by National Hemophilia Foundation guidelines
- You must be willing to keep a diary or log of your activities, any bleeding episodes, and any treatments you receive throughout the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You or your parent/guardian is not willing to sign the required consent forms
- You are not willing to keep records of bleeds and treatments as required by the study
- You have any other bleeding disorder besides Hemophilia A
- You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or currently breastfeeding
- You are using both Factor VIII replacement therapy and Emicizumab together for sports participation
