Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 16 and 80 years old and are generally in good health, or you have already been diagnosed with a condition called G1D (a genetic disorder confirmed by previous testing, not for this study).
- You have dental fillings, dental crowns, or short dental retainer wires (no longer than about 4 cm).
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a seizure disorder that is not well controlled, meaning you have had a grand mal (major) seizure in the last 3 months.
- You are pregnant or may be pregnant — all women who could become pregnant will be given a pregnancy test before taking part.
- You have a device implanted in your body such as a pacemaker, defibrillator (ICD), nerve stimulator, or similar device.
- You feel very anxious or panicked in small, enclosed spaces (claustrophobia).
- You have metal inside your body such as bullets, BBs, or shrapnel (confirm with trial site).
- You have metal implants in your bones — this may or may not disqualify you depending on where the implant is located, and the trial team will review your case individually (confirm with trial site).
- You are not fluent in English, as you need to be able to follow and respond to instructions during the study.
- You are currently following a ketogenic (very low-carb, high-fat) diet.
