- You are between 9 and 18 years old
- A doctor has diagnosed you with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (a type of seizure not caused by abnormal brain electrical activity) using a specific test called a video-EEG
- A family member (a parent, if you are under 18) is willing to take part alongside you, chosen by you
Who may not be able to join:
- You have also been diagnosed with epilepsy
- You are having fewer than 4 of these seizures per month
- Your seizure-like episodes are caused by something else, such as a lack of oxygen to the brain, a sleep disorder, or migraines (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently receiving another form of therapy
- You have a severe intellectual disability
- You have a severe mental illness involving hearing or seeing things that are not there, or holding strong false beliefs
- Your blood pressure is above 130/80 mmHg (if you are 13 or older)
- Your blood pressure reading is at or above the 95th percentile for your age and sex (if you are under 13) — this means it is higher than 95% of children your age (confirm with trial site)
