Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are at least 18 years old and currently live in Italy
- You have been diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), which is confirmed by meeting at least 2 of the following 3 conditions:
- Your blood tests show higher than normal levels of certain liver enzymes called alkaline phosphatase and/or GGT
- A blood test has found specific antibodies related to PBC (called anti-mitochondrial antibodies at a level of 1:40 or higher, or specific antinuclear antibodies known as gp-210 or sp100)
- A liver tissue sample (biopsy) has shown specific changes in the bile ducts that are typical of PBC
Who may not be able to join:
- You have clearly stated that you do not wish to take part in the study
