  • Children and adolescents between 8 and 16 years old who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using recognised diagnostic tools
  • People without an intellectual disability, as measured by standard cognitive tests (with a score above 70)
  • People who are currently receiving care through the University Center for Child Psychiatry at CHRU Bretonneau-Tours in France
  • People who are enrolled in a mainstream school setting, including primary school, middle school, high school, or a specialist inclusion class (ULIS)
  • People who have expressed their own agreement to take part in the study
  • People whose parents or legal guardians have signed a written consent form
  • People whose parents or legal guardians are enrolled in or covered by a French social security scheme

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have movement or motor control difficulties affecting the nervous system
  • People who have vision problems that have not been corrected
  • People who have a hearing impairment
  • People who have a known diagnosis of epilepsy
  • People who have identified anxiety disorders
  • People who have been diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, with or without hyperactivity)
  • People who are currently taking methylphenidate (a medication commonly used for ADHD)
  • People who have a known rare genetic syndrome
