Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with advanced, inoperable stomach cancer or cancer at the junction of the stomach and oesophagus, confirmed by tissue testing as a type called adenocarcinoma.
- People whose cancer may or may not have clearly measurable tumours on scans.
- People who are generally well enough to carry out light activity and care for themselves, as measured by a standard health performance scale (ECOG score of 0 or 1).

- People with a life expectancy of at least 3 months.

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had another cancer diagnosis within the past 3 years, except for certain skin cancers, early-stage cervical changes, or non-spreading prostate cancer.
- People whose cancer has spread to the brain or spinal fluid.
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People with a serious wound, ulcer, or bone fracture that has not healed.
- People with significant heart conditions, such as unstable chest pain, moderate-to-severe heart failure, or a heart attack within the past 6 months.
- People who have had a stroke within the past 6 months.
- People with significant problems with blood circulation in their limbs.
- People who are unable to follow the study procedures or attend follow-up visits.
- People who, in the treating doctor's opinion, are not stable enough to safely take part in a clinical trial for any other medical reason.
